Remote Assistance for Staff of the Georgian Technical University

In case of various technical computer issues, the staff of the Georgian Technical University can make use of remote assistance.

To receive remote assistance, you need to install the open-source software RustDesk designed for IT support on your computer. This program will allow a representative from our IT team to remotely access your device.

RustDesk does not require installation or additional steps – you can simply open the downloaded program by double-clicking on it.

 

 

After opening the program, you will see your device’s unique ID and a one-time password, which should be sent to our IT support specialists at the email address its@gtu.ge or communicated verbally.

It is important that your device is connected to the internet.

Pay attention to the program status (Ready), which is highlighted in green in the image below:
